*Note: This is my first time posting a blog so please excuse any technical issues & the barebones nature of this blog*
Anyways this week my Japanese school held a tea drinking ceremony at its College of Aesthetics campus in Hachioji, Tokyo. Naturally I wouldn't want to miss this chance of participating in a traditional Japanese custom, and I enjoy drinking tea especially if they're green. Plus we all had the chance to wear authentic Japanese garbs; the males wore yukatas & the females wore pretty little kimonos.

So that's me in my yukata. My homeroom teacher said to me that "Surprisingly the yukata rather suits you". Surprisingly eh?
Oh the cute lady on my left is the always cheerful Sai Hyon-san from my class. God bless her kind-hearted soul!

Me with my best "Orly?" expression.

3 cool dudes, 1 pouting lady & 1 uh, awkward dude.

When one of my friends saw this photo, she jokingly said, "Wow! A photo of 4 pretty girls!". Ooohkay, time to get a haircut...

This is Senyo-san, my elegant ex-classmate. As you can clearly see from the photos, she is a huge advocate for world peace.

And here we are back in our casual wear and -- Hey, where are the tea pictures?!
*Note: Unfortunately, photos were prohibited inside the tea ceremony room :(
